The cider’s brewing. The garlands are strung. The toys are packed, wrapped, and ready for delivery— and then the wall falls!
One moment I’m organizing the gifts for my students and the next I’m about to be crushed. At least until an orc warrior comes to the rescue. Ogvick is strong, sweet, and so eager to learn how to play cards. And I am ever so willing to teach him.
Between his boisterous laugh and his amusing tales, I’m falling fast and hard. Then he offers to help remake and deliver all the toys for Winter Night. How could I not let him stay over for a little reward?
I just hope that the less welcoming villagers don’t find out their new Father Winter is an orc!
