Holiday Hang-ups

I’m Scarlett, and I’ve been on the struggle bus for so long that they reserved my seat with a plaque. I have a ton of work to do, but because I missed last Christmas with my family, I’m heading back to Texas for the holiday. It wouldn’t be my life, however, if something didn’t go wrong. So why am I surprised when I get stranded with no gas in the middle of a blizzard? Thankfully a stranger, aka my rescuer, aka Josh, has a heart of gold and a truck big enough to plow through snow. Spending time with anyone other than family isn’t part of my get-in-get-out plan, but my mother seems to have a romantic agenda for me. And Josh is everything my ex wasn’t, which is a good thing. Plus, he seems to be into me. Yet I’m worried my knight in Ford F-150 might have hang-ups as big as my own.
