Discover the truth behind workplace bias—and how women of color can rise, lead, and thrive.
In From Gaslighting to Truthlighting, Falguni Shah exposes how workplace bias and discrimination shape the daily realities of women in leadership and women of color in corporate America. Drawing from in-depth interviews across industries, she reveals the subtle ways gaslighting in the workplace undermines confidence, clouds truth, and stalls career advancement for women of color.
But this book isn’t just about what’s broken—it’s about what’s possible. Shah introduces truthlighting, a new framework built on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategy that replaces doubt with trust and opacity with clarity. Through real promotion stories and powerful examples, she demonstrates how minority women leadership advancement is possible when organizations create inclusive leadership for diverse teams and build pathways that dismantle gender and racial inequities.
Whether you’re an employee navigating corporate culture, a manager seeking to reduce workplace micro-aggressions, or an HR leader driving DEI training for leaders, this book offers actionable insights and practical tools for systemic change. Learn how to:
Identify and respond to psychological abuse and gaslighting at work
Build executive presence and confidence in male-dominated industries
Foster mentorship and leadership development for women executives
Create environments that champion truth, equity, and empowerment
From Gaslighting to Truthlighting is a must-read for leaders committed to breaking the glass ceiling, advancing equity, and shaping workplaces where every voice can be seen, heard, and valued.
